Assistant Parts Manager Duties Include but are not limited to:

  • Order, receive, and bill all parts
  • Maintain proper storage of parts and re-stock shelves
  • Provide assistance to retail customers and technicians, including answering phones
  • Assist with parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping
  • Pick-up and delivery of parts using company vehicle, as needed
  • Keep department and work area orderly, neat, and clean
  • Maintain a superior level of customer service
  • Assist in managing department under the direction of Managers

Automotive Assistant Parts Manager Qualifications:

  • Must have 2 years of prior automotive parts experience, dealership preferred
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Able to work independently or as a team player
  • Available to work a flexible schedule which will include some evenings and Saturdays
  • High School Diploma or GED required, college degree a plus
  • Must have a valid driver's license and few to no points on driving record.
